Sheela Raman is an Indian-American writer, singer, and model. She was educated at Brown University, and has since lived in New York City and Florence, Italy before moving to London, where she now resides.  Her essays and reportage have appeared in Vogue, Art in America, The Indian Quarterly, Verve, The Boston Globe, and a variety of other newspapers and magazines.
Sheela has performed as a jazz singer in both New York and Florence, and is currently at work on original material.
